FoodSTEM project management is organized around different decision bodies who approve the overall work program for the implementation of the project, ensure the smooth collaboration between the partners of the project and avoid any conflicts between them.
The Project Management Unit
The Project Management Unit (PMU) at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia ensures a good overall technical and operational project management as well as communication and reporting to the EACEA and the proper use of the project grant.

The Quality Monitoring Committee
The Quality Monitoring Committee is led by Montpellier SupAgro and it is responsible for the compliance of project processes and results with the predetermined standards and the implementation of quality monitoring.

The Project Management Board
The Project Management Board (PMB) is the decision making body. The PMB approves the overall work program for the implementation of the project, defines the strategy and decides on any necessary measures in reorganisation of tasks and resources. It aims to ensure the smooth collaboration between the partners of the project and to avoid any conflicts between them.
- PMB composition:
- The PMU members
- One university coordinator from each partner institution or the co-coordinator in case of conflict of agenda
The PMB convenes every six month during the Steering Committees of the Project on the matters that require management decision and take part in the monthly Operational Committee Meetings.
The PMU or any member of the PMB can request the organization of a Project Management Board meeting if there is any management issue to solve or important decision to make.

The Steering Committees
The Steering Committees convenes every six month in different partner institutions. It gathers the PMB and the Operational Bodies. It is articulated around management meetings on the matters that require decisions and dissemination meetings to share the progress and results of the project’s activities, within or outside the consortium.
Its composition can vary according to the ongoing activities.
